Conway Catch-Up
October 25th
Hi Conway #OneFamily!
It was great to see so many of you Friday night. We know it took quite a while to get through that trunk or treat line! What a good problem....we had so many people joining in the fun that we backed up down Primmer House and Leeland. Thanks for your patience and allowing your kiddos to participate. Let's hope that next year, we are back to doing it the "traditional" way and we are all out mingling and dancing together again! Hope is on the horizon for sure! :)
It was a joy to see the smiles on your faces as you left the line on Friday night. Thanks to all those who decorated their cars, those who sent in candy, and a huge thank you to our PTA for making that great event possible.
I hope you had a great rest of your weekend. Let's get into the big news for the week:
Top News for this week:
- Picture Day: We will have picture day on Tuesday and Wednesday (we had to move it to two days because we have so many kiddos). Your child's teacher will send out whether your child is on Tuesday or Wednesday. Info on how to order on-line is below.
- Day of Hope on Friday: On Friday, kiddos can dress up as what they hope to become when they grow up. If they don't wish to dress up, we have a sticker for every child to wear to share what they hope to become in the future. We believe that if children have hopes and dreams, it helps them have hope for the future and it helps them see how an education helps get them there. We can't wait to see what they choose! :) Halloween costumes are not allowed. Students wearing costumes that are not related to the Day of Hope will be asked to change.
- PTA and Family Council Meeting - Thursday evening. See times and join codes below. We would love to have your input.
- Yearbooks are HERE: Thanks to the incredible effort of Becky Machleit and a few others on our PTA, the yearbooks from last year are finally here. We had to track down many many children who did not have their picture taken among other issues that Covid presented. We will send these home with kiddos this week.
Have an awesome week #OneFamily!
JR :)
P.S. CENN Morning Announcements are below.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR PARTICIPATING LAST NIGHT!!! It could NEVER have happened without you!! We apologize that it ended much later than we expected, but we never dreamed that we would have that many people attend and we did not want to turn anyone away, especially after some waited nearly 2 hours. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
In our haste, during cleanup the lists that we had of your assigned numbers and themes was ripped from the tables and thrown away. Would you please shoot me an email with your name, number and theme of your display.
Since we were all there much longer than we anticipated, we locked the ballots up in the school and will be counting them tomorrow. We will announce the winners tomorrow afternoon and I will be in touch!!
One more thing!!! If anyone took pictures, please send them our way. We got so busy, so quickly that we only got pictures of what was in our immediate area and we definitely want to share them.
Thank you so much for your support!!
