Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
It was a great week at Duluth Middle School! Our Chorus students showed us how ready they are for Large Group Performance Evaluation, our Band students had a blast at Band Boot Camp, many families attended our interest meeting for the student Europe trip next summer AND our custodial staff earned a near-perfect score on their county inspection. All the while, our teachers and students worked as hard as always in the classrooms.
I look forward to seeing you all for the soccer games tomorrow (9 and 10 am) and to meeting with our Spanish speaking parents at 11 am.
Next Saturday, March 7th, I will host a Coffee and Donuts chat for all parents from 9 - 10 am in the Media Center.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Queridos Padres,

DMS giving a helping hand
Last weekend, on behalf of Duluth Middle School, I had a couple students and their parents sign up for the Atlanta Mission Society's "Race to End Homelessness" 5k. Each registration fee is used to cover one night of shelter and services for someone who would otherwise spend their night in the cold. I told each participant to make sure they indicated Duluth Middle School on their registration forms. There were 4,500 runners who all helped raise over $25,000 dollars.
As for our students, we helped bring in about $200.
Zaiden L. (6th), Brianna S. (7th), a student at Duluth High, and a former Duluth student, now in college, all participated.
