Learning for Life, a character education program used throughout the Lee County School District, will be presenting a holiday cultural awareness show to our Kindergarten through 4th grade students Monday, December 10th during specials. The presentation will discuss different holidays celebrated throughout the world such as Kwanzaa, Chanukah, and Christmas. If you wish for your child not to participate in this event, please send an e-mail to your child’s homeroom teacher. Thank you for your time.

Breakfast with Santa

Thanks to all of our volunteers who made Breakfast with Santa such a fun and memorable event. To view the photos of Santa and Mrs. Claus, click on this link.

It was great to see our students, not only having fun, but making cards for Veterans and donating to some of our school causes. Our school is so fortunate to have families who are always willing to give back to our community. We have two more opportunities to give back to our local community, sponsored by our school counselor and K-Kids. For more information, see the articles below.

Holiday Gift Project

Oasis Elementary will be collecting gifts this season for some of our less fortunate students. By donating to our Holiday Gift Project you truly have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children in our school. Your involvement sends a message of care and support to children in need. We are collecting gifts now through December 18th. We have cards on our holiday tree in the main office, please take a card with you and return it with your gift. Alternatively, you can send gifts to Stefanii Foster, School Counselor, without taking a card from the tree, and your gift will be matched with a child.

Currently we have need for gifts for:

Boys: 5, 7, 8, and 9 years old

Girls: 11, 12, and 16 years old

For more information please contact Stefanii Foster, School Counselor, at Stefanii.Foster@CapeCharterSchools.org

Reminder about Car Line

Please remember in the morning that cars can use both lanes on the side of the building and will merge into an every other traffic flow when vehicles get to the front of the building. Please review the map for clarification.

Also, please remember that in the afternoon, the OHS entrance is not double lanes (like it is in the morning). It is only one lane in in the afternoons. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
