Lesson of the Week!
Mrs. Agnew/Mrs. Hoffman's 2nd Grade and Mrs. Hornbach/Mrs. Porco's 6th grade
Students from Mrs. Agnew's and Miss Hoffman's second grade worked with their 6th grade buddies from Miss Hornbach's (AKA Mrs. Reagan's) class. They read the story, Creepy Carrots, by Aaron Reynolds. After reading the book, they were given the challenge of building a fence made out of carrots and toothpicks in order to keep Jasper Rabbit out of Crackenhopper Field. The buddies had to make a plan, create a design, and then work together to build the fence. The outcome was outstanding! They were different shapes, heights, and truly creative. It was a great STEAM lesson on Halloween morning!
