Art I
On December 14, 1819, Alabama was established in this great nation. Now, 200 years later, we are celebrating its bicentennial. Students have been creating great pieces of artwork of important landmarks, people, and events within Alabama’s eventful 200-year history. It’s been a great week in Art I, with lots of beautiful art being made.

Sixth Grade Rotation
The Power of One
A “1” in iNOW indicates that an assignment is late, but I will still accept it.
I accept 100-point projects for full credit through the end of each nine weeks. The first nine weeks ends October 18. I accept late classwork, like Scholastic Art magazines, for half credit for one month after it was assigned, or the end of the semester, whichever comes first.
Artsonia
The Artsonia grade in iNOW will be worth 20 points each nine weeks. Students receive 5 points for each work of art they post on Artsonia. As students add art to their Artsonia portfolios, points are added periodically to their Artsonia grade in iNOW.
