2014 Open Enrollment

This is your last opportunity to re-enroll for 2014 and register for the last Open Enrollment webinar of the year!
This last webinar session will go into depth of the NEW High Deductible Health Plan with the Health Savings Account option. Please find attached the benefits of electing this option. You may refer to the 2014 Benefits Offerings announcement on CapInTouch.
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to evaluate your benefits and make changes to your plan elections (changes will be effective January 1, 2014). For those of you who have not had an opportunity to attend an Open Enrollment webinar, there will be one last session held on Friday 11/22 at 1:30 PM EST. For anyone who cannot attend the webinar, the presentation and enrollment instructions are attached.
Listed below are a few of the benefit plan highlights for 2014:
- NO employee contribution increase for ANY benefits in 2014
- Medical Insurance – New Qualified High Deductible Health Plan (QHDHP) with Health Savings Account
- Change in Flexible Spending Account carrier from Cielostar to CBIZ Flex
- CBIZ Flex will handle the grace period for the FSA accounts
- Please note that the monthly maximum contribution has decreased to $130 for Transit and $250 for Parking
Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical, Dependent Care, Transit, and Parking Reimbursement)
Capco has decided to switch FSA carriers and move to CBIZ Flex. CBIZ Flex will be administering this year’s runoff/grace period. Cielostar will have a BLACK OUT period for claim reimbursement from December 15th through the 31st in order to balance all accounts and transfer funds to CBIZ. Employee’s cards will be turned off and claims will not be able to be submitted during this time period. Employees will receive a new card in order to submit reimbursements as of January 1st, 2014.
ACTION REQUIRED: In order to participate in 2014, please log into Benergy and complete the enrollment process no later than November 25, 2013.
All 2013 FSA claims must be submitted between January 1st , 2014 through March 31st , 2014. If you wish to use 2013 funds to pay for 2014 charges, you can submit these claims from January 1st, 2014 through March 15th, 2014. If you do not submit a claim with the proper documentation you will forfeit the remainder of your 2013 funds.
