The Optimum Learning Environment

An environment that caters for the wide range of diversity among stage 3 students.
As a future teacher, one day I look forward to designing an interactive, innovate and resourceful classroom which "speaks" to the needs of all students. This classroom will be a multi-functional setting which values Gardners "Theory of Multiple Intelligences" (1983). It will move away from the traditional teacher directed classroom and towards a classroom which focuses on the child-centred model. Below are images I've created with this personal philosophy in mind and also inspirational images of school environments which has stimulated this personal belief of mine.

The front of the class
This image illustrates what I believe the front of the class should represent... a space of collaboration and inclusion. The choice of mat also is a subtle inclusion to represent all personality types coming together as a whole class.
