ASVAB ( It is not just for those interested in the military)

The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a unique opportunity to explore all of your career and post-secondary options so you can make a plan that works for you. The ASVAB CEP helps you identify your skills and interests so that you can find potentially satisfying career fields and explore all of the paths you can take to gain entry into your career field of choice

Global Lift Equipment Scholarship:

To be considered for this scholarship you must be currently attending or planning on attending a post-secondary institution in Canada or the US and submit a short story. Detailed instructions can be found on the application page on website.

Hearing Loss Association of America-Rochester Chapter:

This scholarship is awarded by the Hearing Loss Association of America, Rochester, Chapter, in the amount of $1,000 to be awarded to Greater Rochester area high school seniors with hearing loss who are pursuing post-secondary education or vocational training. Recipients must have applied to enter their first year of postsecondary education or vocational training and be between the ages of 17 and 20. They must have a documented hearing loss. Financial need is not a consideration. The scholarship is a one-time award.

SAANYS Region 11 Scholarship Award:

SAANYS Region 11 is proud to announce its annual College Scholarship Award Program. Graduating seniors are urged to write a 500 hundred-word essay on the following topic: “A School Administrator Who Has Made a Difference in My Life” Entries must provide an additional cover letter that includes the entrant’s name, address, telephone number, high school name, and the name of the administrator written about.

Student-View Scholarship Program:

Complete an online survey about colleges in your area and you could win one of 13 scholarships from Student Insights. High school seniors of all academic levels and financial backgrounds are eligible for awards that range from $500 to $5,000. Scholarships are awarded to students selected randomly. The application survey takes from 15 to 25 minutes. See website for details.
