Friday Night is Senior Night! Come for the game and show your appreciation for the RHS Seniors and their accomplishments.


Please remember that the visitor concession stand supports the band program. Walk down to the field and tell the Junior ROTC at the field gate that you are going to the visitor's concession stand. Stay on the perimeter running track and come on over!

GAME ITINERARY FOR MARCHING BAND (Friday Sept. 17th)

4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ....................................Move equipment into the stadium

5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. ....................................Dinner (provided by Booster Club)

6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. ....................................Change into uniform

6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. ....................................Warm up

7:00 p.m. .......................................................Transition to stadium

7:12 p.m. .......................................................Step off for pregame show

7:30 p.m. .......................................................Kick-off GO HORNETS!

8:45 p.m. .......................................................Approximate time of Senior recognition

VOLUNTEER OPENINGS

This week we need volunteers for both Friday and Saturday. Friday night is Senior Night and our senior parents will be taking the night off from their volunteer shifts to be with their students. Therefore, we need extra help in filling our volunteer openings including some extra bakers who want to make some yummy treats for our pre-game senior family event.

We really need volunteers this week at the concession stand and grill station. Come find out what a fun time these volunteers have!


More information on these positions:

Bakers: Drop off: between 5:30 and 7:30 pm Make homemade treats to sell at the concession stand; drop off individually wrapped goodies to the concession stand on the night of the game.

Grill Team: Arrival: 5:30 pm. The grill team is responsible for grilling burgers, boiling hot dogs then wrapping these items in aluminum foil to go in the warmers. They restock during the game as needed, have time for breaks and then clean up during the 4th quarter.

Third Quarter Meals: Arrival: just before halftime. Responsibilities: set up tables, food and drinks and pass out the pre-ordered food to the band members. This is located to the left of the concession stand (as you face the stand). You'll receive a printout of the meals, as well as the individually wrapped items. Clean up after the kids have received their food.

Concession Stand First Half: Arrival: 5:30 pm Responsibilities: Set up the concession stand, ice drinks,set out tables and condiments, work with the grill team to wrap the pizza, burgers, and hot dogs in aluminum foil, separate the pre-ordered food in the warmers, wipe down counters, sweep, etc. Please stay until the second half crew is all set.

Concession Second Half: Arrival: just before halftime Halftime and third quarter are very busy - please arrive before halftime so we can get you trained and in place before the first half crew departs. During the 4th quarter, we will begin to sell items at half price and begin to clean up. Please stay until everything is cleaned up and put away using the checklist of clean up items.

Parking is FREE for everyone who is volunteering in person at home games. Your name will be submitted on Friday morning of game day. Just let the parking attendants know when you arrive.

3rd QUARTER MEAL

Buy your band student a 3rd quarter meal or snack for Friday's game. Students simply go over to the Visitor's Concessions stand during the 3rd quarter to pick up their prepaid meal or snack. Check out the 3rd Quarter Meal options. The deadline to purchase for the upcoming game is Thursday, Sept. 16th.


FULTON COUNTY MARCHING BAND EXHIBITION

Come cheer on the RHS Marching Band and see performances from all 15 Fulton County High School marching bands!


The annual Fulton County Marching Band Exhibition takes place on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Cambridge High School Stadium in Milton, Georgia. Participating bands will present their collective talents beginning at 5:45pm.


Tickets can be purchased online or at the event for $5 per person. Parking is free.

12:00 p.m. .....................................Report for rehearsal (eat before arrival)

3:00 p.m. .......................................End rehearsal / Pack rehearsal and get into half uniform

4:00 p.m. .......................................Depart for Cambridge High School

4:30 p.m. .......................................Arrive at Cambridge and unload and prepare for performance

5:30 p.m. .......................................Enter stand to watch performances of other bands

6:15 p.m. .......................................Warm up for performance

6:50 p.m. .......................................RHS Band performs

7:15 p.m. .......................................Eat Jimmy John’s boxed meals

9:00 p.m. .......................................Depart Cambridge for return to RHS

9:20 p.m. .......................................Arrive at RHS and unload the truck

10:00 p.m. .....................................Approximate dismissal time
