Message from Mrs. Hawkins
Lincoln Families and Friends,
The 2021-22 school year is quickly coming to an end. Our staff and students are working hard to complete the curriculum and assignments at each grade level. We also have many celebrations and activities planned to finish out the school year. We are so happy that we will be able to include our families in these events this year. Please check out the school calendar and join us for an event or two.
Our students have worked extremely hard this school year and the staff have given out a record number of Lincoln Leader tickets. We are averaging over 6,000 tickets a quarter given to students for acting like Lincoln Leaders. Everyday we see many students demonstrating the Big Three Expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn.
Attendance continues to be a challenge for students because of illness and family events. We are seeing the effects of this on student achievement and social emotional learning. Hopefully next school year we can return to a more typical year. If you are planning vacations for next year, please take a look at the school calendar and plan accordingly. 2022-23 School Calendar
Thank you for your support this school year. It has certainly tested everyone’s flexibility, patience, and grit. I hope the spring weather, which is sure to come in May, will brighten everyone’s spirits. Please call or stop by if you have any questions or concerns.
Mary Hawkins, Principal
