QE Weekly Update
9.12.21
Dear QE Families,
This past week was a very short week but we had 2 important events that took place. Our first fire drill took place on Thursday morning and all of our students did an incredible job of silently and quickly lining up and getting out of the building. They may have actually set a QE record as well!! We also had our PBIS assembly with our K-2 students and 3-5 students. Students reviewed the QE PRIDE mantra and answered questions about expected behavior on the bus, in the classroom, in the hallway, in assemblies, in the bathroom, and many students walked away with prizes for their responses.
This week is another short week (4 days) and students will be wrapping up their beginning of year benchmark assessments. The data collected from these assessments will support our staff in altering their instruction and strategically creating groups to better support students.
