MHS Alumni Make Donations

Representatives from the MHS Alumni Association presented a $10,000 check to the District on September 30th. The money will be dispersed among all of the school buildings to provide or enhance programs that are not state funded. Each school building will have the flexibility to choose the programs that will receive the funds. The District is proud of and appreciates this partnership with the longest continuously active Alumni Association in the country! Vikings Marching Band rated Superior at Versailles Invitational

On Saturday, October 8, the Miamisburg Viking Marching Band brought their show “A Thirst For…” to the Versailles Marching Band Invitational held in Versailles, Ohio at H.B. Hole Field, where they won every award for which they were eligible. Eighteen bands competed at the invitational.

MCS Expands Career Technical Programming

Miamisburg City School District is expanding its partnership with Miami Valley Career Technical Center (MVCTC) to establish satellite programs for Engineering Design and Robotics.

Former Student of Mound Elementary Publishes Book

Miamisburg City School District is proud to celebrate student author Pyper Worley and her new book, "The Side of Our House." Worley, a middle school student who formerly attended Mound Elementary, began writing during the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine. Her book tells the story of a seemingly perfect family, with the perfect house in a perfect neighborhood, until the day everything changed. It's a thrilling mystery written by an incredibly talented young author.

Preschool Program Partnership with Miami Valley Child Development Centers

At Miamisburg City School District, we are committed to providing high-quality education for all our students, including the youngest in our district. By taking an innovative approach to education, our district is able to provide expanded preschool opportunities to our community in order to prepare preschool-aged students for kindergarten.
