DUTY OF CARE
A couple of reminders:
Before school supervision starts at 8.15am. No supervision is available before that time unless your child is involved in before school sports training. Please ensure that this is adhered to or, if supervision is required before that time, please contact Discovery Kids who provide before school care from 7am.
The Dominican Playground (the one with the lovely new sail!) closes at 3.30pm as it is then licenced to After School Care. It is lovely to see how many families use that time from after school until 3.30pm to play there. But this can only happen if the following is adhered to. Please note that:
- The playground doesn’t include the Veritas Garden, Oval, Courts etc. It only relates to the grassed area and play equipment in the sandpit.
- parents and guardians must exercise line of sight supervision for all children using the playground at that time - otherwise they may not use the area. Keep it safe!
- Please vacate the playground by 3.30pm
Nothing in this is new. The arrangement is long standing. We are keen for it to continue.

HOLY ROSARY COMMUNITY NEWS
SCHOOL BOARD POSITIONS 2020
Taking on a position on the School Board is a way for parents to get involved and help shape the future of our school. The Board represents our school community. It is responsible for the financial administration of the school and is also entrusted with planning to meet the present and future needs of its students.
We have three outgoing Board Members and would love to fill the positions with parents who have a deep interest in creating opportunities for all Holy Rosary children, as well as our community. The Board meets once a month at school.
If you are interested in serving on the School Board, please speak with Jonathon Woolfrey (outgoing Chair) or Mark de Kluyver. Please contact the office.
