- ALL Grades must submit their Weekly HW Calendar to both administrators before Monday for approval. Please make sure to include announcements about Veteran's Day, Picture Day, and Parent Teacher conferences.
- To all teachers, please make sure daily homework is checked. Ms. Hamm and Ms. Diaz have received several concerns across the grades, from parents that HW is not being checked. Please make sure to mark all homework assignments after they are checked.
Reminders:
- Routines should be put into practice and refined to reduce loss of transition times (Classroom transitions to and from the classroom/ Core Curriculum in the classroom/When I'm done activities-next steps).
- All bulletin boards with students work must have the following: A task, a rubric, and a teacher/student comment sheet that include a positive and next steps comment based on the rubric and task for the student. Student goal should also reflect the feedback the teacher has provided.
- Please continue to check the ECHALK Groups for updates on documents and information. Making it part of your practice will keep you up to speed with the current events and information in our school community.
- A picture is worth a thousand words! THANK YOU for those who are including PHOTOS of students doing work and engaged in classroom activities on your bulletin boards. You may secure a school camera for use from Tim (M/W/F).
- ALL Grade Scope and Sequence, Writing Units, and Social Studies units have been shared through e-chalk group "Classroom Resources" Group.
- Please make sure you are planning for all core subjects (reading, writing, math, science and social studies). If your grade divides the planning of lessons, please make sure all members of your grade get a copy of the lessons in case of emergencies by Monday morning.
- Please make sure your lesson plans are visible in the front of the room placed above the students portfolios and reflect the current date each day. This includes traveling push in teachers. Service providers please have your lessons available for visitors.
