Introduction of Olivia N!

For class of Ele 301.

Background, hobbies, and life.

It's hard by just looking at someone what their life may consist of. My friends always tell me I look like a gypsy. I would say I take after my mama in that aspect because she's the route of my life and always will be my hero. Family has always been important to me. I have a husband and two boys who definitely keep me on my toes. Safe to say between full time school, work, and a family, tired has become a part of my personality. But I will always live life to the fullest. I don't believe we were put on this earth to work and die. Life needs to be lived! My biggest hobby is traveling and my bucket list gets bigger every day. I've been blessed to be able to actually cross things off of it.

Getting to the specifics.

When it comes to writing I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. I enjoy creative writing and letting the mind wander to create new stories. I learned writing by my mom sitting down with me while I was young and taking the time to teach my letters. I learned more in kindergarten but the root of my writing came from my mom teaching me. I am definitely a reader. I read books more than I watch TV. I think it's fascinating how some writers can come up with such compelling stories. My favorite books to read hands down are the Harry Potter books. (The movies are great too!) I'm not a fan of sci-fi books I would say more along the lines of fantasy. Because The Hobbit, Maze runner, and Lord of the Rings I love also. My favorite writing teaching was my 11th grade English teacher, Ms. Caffery. She believe in creative writing, and she supported almost everything you wrote. I believe that teachers who believe in their students make their students thrive.
