Epithelial Tissue
Prostate Gland
Epithelial tissue cells work best for glands because they are packed tightly to form a protective barrier that holds the glandular fluids but is also able to selectively secrete when needed to.
Muscle Tissue
Muscle tissue cells work best for the heart because they allow for the synchronous beats that move the blood through the heart.
Connective Tissue
Connective tissue works best for bones because it is able to support the body, protect and store minerals, and produce white blood cells which are all essential functions of the bone.
Nervous Tissue
A nervous tissue is best for the function of the neuron because it it has long spindles that can transmit signals quickly throughout the body.
The nervous tissue in neurons is the best tissue for it's location because it has so many connectors that allow the neuron to send signals quickly. All of the synapses in the body need to happen quickly in order for us to live, so the fact that nervous tissue is found in the brain, neurons, and spinal cord benefits the body the most because all neuron signals go to the brain and vice versa.
