Clarence Darrow: A One-Man Play
Coming to Guilford Park Presbyterian Church
Join us for a dramatization of the life of famed lawyer Clarence Darrow
Through local actor and teacher John Robinson, you will hear tales from Darrow's long career as a lawyer involved in some of the most celebrated cases in American history. His passionate quest for social justice for - in his own words - "the poor, the weak, and the weary" echoes the struggle for justice in contemporary America, making this a thought-provoking and relevant presentation for our time. Robinson brings to life the passionate, funny, philosophical, proud and prophetic spirit of Clarence Darrow in this play by David Rintels, based on the Irving Stone biography, "Clarence Darrow for the Defense".
