More Field Day Fun
Our first through third grade students, with the help of some fifth graders, participated in their Field Day on Tuesday! Also, a special lunch was provided for the entire building by the Moraine and West Carrollton Police and Fire Departments. Popsicles were also donated by Mr. and Mrs. Samworth. What a fun day!
Dairy Dreem Visits
The PTO sponsored class trips to Dairy Dreem for the end of the school year. What a special treat!
End of the Year Awards Assembly
Wednesday was our first and second grade awards assembly, followed by the third through fifth grade assembly. Fourth quarter awards, year-long awards, Assest Builder's of the Month, and school club awards were presented. We are so proud of our students.

A BIG Thank You!
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our fabulous parents and families for all you do for our students and staff. You are truly appreciated. Thank you to those parents that participated in our PTO, and we look forward to working more closely with you next school year. Please consider joining Holliday's PTO in the fall and look for some communication over the summer about how you can become involved.
Holliday Happenings
100 Book Club
Second grade students have been working all year to read 100 baggy books at home. The students that reached this goal were given an ice cream party to celebrate their accomplishment. Congratulations to the 36 students that earned this honor!
Third Grade Has Green Thumbs
Third graders have planted their garden. This project involved hundreds of seeds, several plants, thirty pallets, ninety-eight students, and twenty-seven thousand pounds of soil. The group has worked hard! If you happen to visit our building over the summer, stop by and see the growth. Please be sure to respect our hard work. We hope to offer everyone some fresh produce this fall during lunch. Stay tuned!
Third Grade Authors
After reading several books from the Laura Numeroff, "If You Give..." series, Miss Jordan's reading class wrote their own books. They followed the adventures of a mouse, cat, dog and fox. They learned about different parts of a book including the title, dedication page, and publisher. They also learned about the roles of the author, illustrator and editor. How fun!
