National Honor Society Inductees

Sophomores Elijah Zortman and Charlie Littlewood have been named the 2020 inductees to the National Honor Society. Both students demonstrate the qualities required by the organization- scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Civic Engagement

USD 225 believes that students need to be active in the community in which they live in. At Fowler Schools, value is placed on community service and student collaboration with community organizations.

Summer School

Our hope is to offer a Jump Start summer school program through Aspire sometime in July. This would include an academic and enrichment time for students completing PK-5th grade, as well as a credit recovery opportunity for middle/high school students. This will depend on state orders and KDHE guidelines. At this time, there is no formal plan.

Grade School Teachers Surprise Students

On April 7th, Fowler Grade School teachers left a surprise in the yard of their students. This was a special treat for students, reminding them that their teachers are still there to give love and support. It was a great day to be Goldbug proud.

Personnel Work Hard to Continue Meal Distribution

USD 225 has been providing meals to 130-160 students per week. Thank you to Lisa Rosebeary, Tammy Smith, Yolanda Perez, Gill McNemer, and Valerie Crone who plan, pack, and distribute these meals each week!

Sanitization Master!

We thank Tammy Smith for her diligence in sanitizing our school facilities to keep them safe for staff and students. In addition to the school, Tammy and her disinfecting gun have been making weekly rounds to the Fowler City Office, Fowler State Bank, Post Office, Quick Pick, and Fowler Equity.
