CAMPUS DAILY REMINDERS
Food Deliveries: Uber, Door Dash, etc. NOT Permitted
Parents are reminded of campus policies and procedures. We are seeing an increase in food deliveries to the main office. Parents are reminded, that we do not accept food deliveries of any kind during the instructional day. Food deliveries for students will be refused. Students can have food delivered after school only. No deliveries will be accepted during the school day 7:30-3:20 daily. Student athletes are encouraged to place orders through their coaches on game days.
Cell Phone Policy
Students who use their phone without permission from campus staff are subject to cell phone confiscation. Per district policy, cell phones will be confiscated and returned to parents with an administrative fee of $15.
Athletic Events
Campus policy requires students to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all campus athletic events. Students without a parent/guardian will not be able to enter the facility. Ticket purchases are made online and questions are to be directed to the LISD Athletic office.
LMS Yearbook
Don't delay and order your 22-23 LMS Yearbook today! The online price is $28 and in-person is $30. The price of the yearbook will increase after Winter Break, so be sure to place the order soon!
ID Badges:
It is required that all students wear their ID badges while on campus at all times. Failure to do so, may result in disciplinary infractions. Lost badges will have to be replaced at a fee of $5.00. All students will receive their first badge at NO CHARGE. If a student did not receive their badge, they can visit the library during their scheduled lunch period to ensure they receive one.
Bus Riders have an orange badge. Only students with orange badges are dismissed with bus riders each day during daily dismissal. Car riders, walkers will be issued a white ID badge.
Tardy Policy Continues:
Earlier this week, an amendment was made to the campus tardy policy. The policy was revised for students who arrive late to school. Any student who arrives after 8:00am must be signed in at the main office by their parent. Failing to do so may result in the court of law imposing penalties against parents if a student is consistently late for school without a parent/guardian signing them in at their campus when arriving after the tardy bell has rung. We thank you for your partnership in ensuring that your student comes to school on time daily. We also encourage you to click here to review our district's policy on tardiness and absenteeism.
Campus Conflicts:
Parents are encouraged to notify the campus of any known conflicts with their students. As we explained during student expectations assemblies, fights are not the way to resolve issues on campus. If you child is having conflict with anyone on campus, please reach out to the school to make us aware. We will host mediation sessions with the students to get to the root of the conflict and prevent the issue from continuing. At LMS, we are a zero tolerance campus. Meaning students who fight, will be subject to receiving a citation and have to go to court. Help us by letting us know of conflict before it gets out of hand.

Lancaster ISD students (Kindergarten through 8th grade) will enjoy free breakfast and lunch during the 2022-2023 school year due to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
The CEP allows campuses to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to enrolled students without collecting free and reduced lunch applications.
The Lancaster ISD Child Nutrition Department received approval to provide CEP for all elementary campuses, George W. Carver 6th-grade Center, and Lancaster Middle School. The district will utilize the provision to alleviate the need for free and reduced lunch applications, improve health and wellness for students, and reduce financial stress on families.
Please review the bus routes and transportation guidelines. Parents, helping your student become familiar with his/her route before the first day of school will help them feel less anxious on the first day of school.
