Parent Teacher Conferences

Just a reminder that parent teacher conferences will be this Thursday from 5- 8pm and Friday from 8am - noon.

Testing Proctors Needed

We are in the need for test proctors during state testing from between April 3-28. Please contact Summer Grace with times you are available to assist

Testing Snacks Assistance

This year we are providing pretzels to students before state testing sessions, if you would like to help provide snack sized bags of pretzels for our students please bring them to the counseling offices."

6th Grade Parents

Just a reminder that all current 6th grade students will need the t-dap shot before the 7th grade year.

LMS Booster Club Meeting

The LMS Booster Club meeting will be March 6 @ 6:30 pm.

Cheer Update

Cheer information packets are in the main office for pick up for any current 6th or 7th grader wanting to tryout for next year. All required forms from the packet checklist and the $30 for the cheer clinic are due by March 23 at 4:30 pm. Money and forms may be dropped off in the main office marked "Attn: Athletic Coordinator". Any girl or boy that makes the cheer squad has to be Rank One eligible before they are allowed to practice after April 1st. Rank One can be accessed through the Athletics page on the NPS website. LMS Special Olympics Event

Longfellow Middle School students will participate in the Special Olympics Art and Music Festival on March 4 at the Nancy O'Brian Performing Arts Center at Norman North beginning at 9am. This events is for all Special Olympians in the Boomer Sooner Area to include the counties of Cleveland, McClain, Grady, Pottawatomi and Seminole. The artwork has been judged by Norman artists and is available to be seend before the music program that begins at 9:00. The music program is being emceed by our own Mrs. Thornhill and a former Longfellow student Paul Woody. The coordinators for this event are Mrs. S Graves and Ms. Patterson.

Calling 6th and 7th Grade Students

Are you a 6th or 7th grade student that likes to work with computers? Longfellow Middle School is creating a student run help desk center. Take a look at the presentation and make sure to sign up on the google form.
