The Graduate School announces the recipients of Fall 2022 Graduate Research Travel Grant Awards
As a graduate student, conducting research and publishing scholarly work is essential to professional development and career advancement. It provides the opportunity to learn new skills, network with other students and researchers in the area of interest, and personally contribute new knowledge to the field. For graduate students, Graduate Research Travel Grants is one means to support the costs (conference fees, travel, and accommodations) associated with the presentation of their own original scholarship at professional conferences. The Graduate School is pleased to announce the recipients of the fall cycle of graduate student travel grants. Congratulations are extended to:
Casey Elliott, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Title of work: The effect of an educational module on NP student's awareness, knowledge, and confidence in responding to human trafficking.
Bella Mowell, Master of Criminal Justice (MSCJ)
Title of work: Jail-level test of the cycle of violence thesis.
The Graduate School extends a special thank you to the Georgia College and State University Foundation for Heritage Funds to support the grant awards, the Office of the Provost, and the Graduate Research Travel Grant Committee for their support.
The deadline for the spring 2023 application cycle is February 15. Interested students can apply by visiting the Graduate Opportunities page.
