What you need to know about purchasing via the Octavo portal
How to Sign Up to Our Services for 16/17
1. Log into the Octavo portal and navigate to the services page
2. On the right hand side is a box called 'Order Services'. Click the link 'Quick Buy Form' to view contracts and ad hoc services for 2016-17
3. The system will automatically show you contracts you purchased for 15/16 and populate your booking form for 16/17. These will already be selected and are ready to add to your basket
Quote requests should be completed and sent before clicking 'Add to Basket'
4. All other providers with available contracts will be listed as below. To view their contracts click on the drop down arrow beside the Provider's name
5. Select the item/s you wish to purchase from this provider. If you wish to purchase more than one of this item select the drop down menu
6. Once you have selected the items you require across all of the providers scroll to the bottom of the page to add these items to your shopping basket
7. To check items out of your shopping basket follow the link in the top right corner of the screen
8. Use the tick boxes to select the items you wish to check out. Add a purchase order if required and accept the Terms & Conditions before clicking 'Checkout'
To delete an item out of your shopping basket hover over the item so that it highlighted yellow and press the white 'x' which will appear on the far right

9. Your purchases can be viewed in your Purchase History at the bottom of the homepage.
Alternatively you can run a range of transaction reports from the 'Manage Services' section found on the services page
Accessing the Portal
To request a user account email the below details to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Job Title
- Contact Number
- Level of Permissions - Booking Only or Full Permissions
