Clinton-Massie Tip Line

Clinton-Massie Local Schools would like to announce the start of the Tip Line to report any suspicious activity, threats, danger or other safety concerns. This Tip Line is maintained by the Clinton-Massie Administration. This idea came out of the community forum on school safety. The Tip Line gives a person the opportunity to text or leave a voice message. We are serious about allowing the parents, guardians, relatives and students in our community to have a voice in creating a safer environment. This line should be used to report information that may need investigated. This is not a direct emergency line. If there is an immediate threat please call 9-1-1. A person may also fill in a form to anonymously report information. That form can be found at the following link:…/anonymous_reporting

Project Based Learning

Project Based Learning is a term that is being used lately by district administration and in the educational community. Although the term may seem new, PBL is a concept that dates back over 100 years. Many school districts have implemented PBL recently to create a deeper understanding of key concepts for 21st century learners. PBL puts a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education. The reason for our interest in this modality is simple: The wave of future economic prosperity lies in a workforce that is well-versed in rising job markets like science, technology, engineering and math. We have concluded there should be an increased investment in STEAM initiatives in our schools. At CMLS we are researching how PBL, with a focus on STEAM, can work in each of our buildings and what it will take to make sure this endeavor will be successful. We will continue to move forward slowly but with high levels of excitement. It is truly a great time to be a Falcon!
