March Madness - Positive Behavior!
Our character focus for March is Positive Behavior. We are encouraging all students to go above and beyond with behaving positively and acting appropriately. We have the best students, and I know we can lead the way in being kind and behaving correctly. Thank you, families, for supporting your students with great expectations.
Two students in each class will be chosen as models of good behavior at the end of March, and they will get ice cream with the principal!
Garden Club Meets Tuesday March 14 - Last Names A-L
Thank you to the parents of Garden Club who assembled and delivered our garden boxes! These are the future homes of many plants that will flourish from the Garden Club's hard work.
Dance Club - Next Round for 1st and 2nd Grade!
The next round of Dance Club is coming for 1st and 2nd Grade!
When: Every Thursday from April 13th - May 25th from 2:40-3:30 (no meeting May 18th)
Where: Leman Elementary Multipurpose Room
Who: 1st and 2nd Graders who want to dance!
Applications will go home Monday.
Day of Awesomeness - March 27
Our recent POP fundraiser Day of Awesomeness has been rescheduled to Monday, March 27th (weather permitting). Students will be on the field and participate in a lot of different activities. More details regarding times, etc. will be shared as the date approaches.
Math Activities After School
Mrs. Bryant and Mr. Gout have each started after school math programs to target specific students and address different needs. Mrs. Bryant is piloting a math facts digital platform for "March Madness." The students really like it, and according to their data, it seems to be working well! Mr. Gout had his first meeting of the Principal's Math Club, where they will go over current math concepts utilizing hands-on activities and collaboration. Nice work to all the Lemur Mathletes!

Our next PTO Meeting is this Tuesday, March 14th at 7pm on Zoom. We are giving away money during this meeting to our Teachers and Staff so we encourage you to come hear who is getting what for their classrooms and on campus!

We had a LOT of rain and winter weather last week, and unfortunately we had to postpone our Day of Awesomeness. We will have it, though, and it will be amazing! It looks like more rain early this week, but we will seek every opportunity to get our Lemurs outside and active. Have Fun!
