Veteran's Day
Next month, on November 10th, we will celebrate Veteran's Day with a school-wide assembly. We love having veterans com help us celebrate this special day with our school. If your child has a relative that is a veteran and is interested in coming, please let Mrs. Farrow know as soon as possible by sending her an email, farramy@pewaukeeschools.org. In this email please provide Mrs. Farrow with the following information:
* If the veteran would like to speak to a class after the assembly (which classroom)
* Brief history of service, for a quick introduction during the assembly
Mrs. Farrow needs this information ahead of time in order to honor them properly during our celebration, so please make sure you email her before November 10th.

Math
Fractions are coming to a close! Students will be finishing the unit next week with their final assessment. Please check Family Access for their grades. You will see a hard copy of their test during Fall Conferences.
If your child is struggling with math homework, please have them take a moment to look at our math videos on our webpage. Mrs. Kingsley and I worked on recording videos that students can use as a resource, as they navigate through fractions this unit.
BizTown
BizTown was a success! Checkout the video below to see highlights from our field trip.
Next week, students will be assessed on the content that was covered in class. Here is a link to the study guide to help students prepare.
After the BizTown test, students will begin our first Science unit, Matter. During this unit, students will analyze the various properties of solids, liquids, and gasses through hands-on investigations! If your child doesn't already have goggles, it's important that they have a pair for our Matter unit. Yes, that means things will be bubbling and fizzing!
