With social media always changing it is important to update your skills to meet the demands.

We see, read, and hear a lot about "optics" these days, which inevitably brings me to Facebook and other social media. Many of the optics we’re seeing these days are truly disturbing, but one that struck me as particularly so was the picture of Ahmed Mohamed, the Texas teenager treated like a war criminal for having the audacity to build a clock for a science class and take it to high school to show his teacher.

Let the ethics games begin!

The September PRSA-WV Chapter meeting provided hands-on lessons on ethics through an interactive game format.
Our presenters, Karl Brack, Cathryn Harris, APR, Fellow PRSA, and Joe Long, APR, each presented a scenario containing some actions that would violate the PRSA Code of Ethics or the updated advisories.
