Is it just us, or did all our students grow over the break? Now is a great time to check that items still fit properly and are in good condition. Skirts, jumpers, and shorts should be replaced if the hemline is more than 4 inches from the top of the knee cap. Please take some time to review our uniform guidelines in the family handbook. We would like our students to always look their best! We will send out information about exchanging items at the Uniform Closet in the near future!
Winter MAP Assessments
It is very important your child is present, healthy, and well-rested on assessment days. Please try to avoid appointments or late arrivals on MAP days. Our Archdiocesan-assigned time for winter MAP assessments is January 17th-February 3rd. We will share results with guardians later this year.
We assess student academic growth in our second through eighth grade cohorts three times a year using NWEA MAP Growth. MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) provides teachers with accurate, and actionable evidence to help target instruction for individual students or small groups, and to differentiate instruction in a way that benefits and challenges all of our students.

Art Club - Enroll for February!
*Art Club will resume in February and we are making a few changes! Art Club is moving from Wednesdays to Fridays, but the times will be the same. We will begin right after carpool and end at 4:30. The first day of Art Club next month will be Friday, February 3rd.
*Starting next month it will be highly encouraged to enroll only if your student can attend all 4 weeks. Refunds will not be available after February 3rd. We will be working on some guided projects so attendance will be important. The students will still have some time for independent projects as well!
*Art Club fee for February will be $60 and can be paid through venmo to Kara-Lane-20 or you can drop off a check to the office made out to Kara Whitmire with "Art Club-(student's name)" in the memo section. Please have your enrollment form filled out and fee paid by Friday, February 3rd to reserve your student’s space. Email any questions to email@example.com.
