Live In Concert!
The Central Bucks High School West Music Department, in conjunction with ROLI and OOKA Restaurants is proud to present the Seaboard GRAND, live in concert.
The CBW Music Department will be the first high school in the world to take delivery of the revolutionary ROLI Seaboard GRAND Limited First Edition.
The evening will feature musical works and improvisations featuring the Seaboard GRAND performed by CBW Large Ensembles including the CBW Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Choir.
Student soloists from across the district as well as special alumni guests will take the stage in performance. Original works featuring the instrument have been commissioned and are being written by CBW alumni Andrew Carson and Matthew Samson.
The concert will feature a special guest performance from CORY HENRY, world-renowned keyboardist and member of jazz fusion ensemble, SNARKY PUPPY. Special guests from ROLI and OOKA will also be in attendance for the concert.
Members from the ROLI team will be visiting CBW during the days leading up to the concert to capture candid rehearsal videos, conduct interviews, as well as take footage of the concert. They plan to feature CBW students and this event in a small documentary piece covering the educational possibilities of the Seaboard GRAND.
