Comprehension questions test you on your ability to recall and understand what you read in a passage.

Comprehension questions are typically used after reading a passage, and they come in the form of applying the information they were presented.


Questions that analyze the text and go in between the lines

These questions usually ask why, which is to find out your deeper understanding of the text.


A universal question is one that can relate to all people, and cannot be answered with a yes/no response.

A question that is universal can be understood and answered by anyone, and is supposed to make people find a way to relate it to their life. This is to make people really think to answer the question, as it'll go outside the subject and will be on a broader aspect.
