Self-Evaluation and Goals (more info in school news)
Certified
Please have your self-evaluation completed and begin working on your SLG and PGG goals. Due by 10/31.
Classified Staff
Yourself-evaluation and goal setting forms will be in your mailboxes this week.
Staff Meeting and Professional Development Feedback
This year there will be a link on each SM and PD agenda to gather information and feedback about the experience. We ran out of time for me to introduce it at our last staff meeting on September 26 and Classified PD on September 27. Please take a few minutes to provide feedback on one or both experiences. Thank you! SM and PD Feedback Link
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
We had a very unfortunate situation take place during the past week, where some of our most fragile students were made to feel excluded. Ana mentioned the situation in an email to staff.
In teacher's mailboxes is a "short" version of how to develop community circles in the classroom. Please use this resource to begin to build community in your room. Copied two circle actives from the more comprehensive resource, Circle Forward - Building A restorative School Community. After circles have been established and there is a level of community in your classroom, please complete the Being Left Out Circle and perhaps the Let's Talk About Bullying circle. There are many other scripted circles on just about every topic imaginable. You are always welcome to borrow Circle Forward. Susan Leonard also has a copy.

Writing your PGG and SLG in Pivot. Remember "Area of Focus" is your PGG goal related to the 5D+. Your "Goal" is a Student Learning Goal -- written in a SMART goal format. You must click the "Add a Goal" button to create a box for the 2nd SLG.
