Sheldon announces new administrative leaders and coaches

Coach Derek Fitzhenry has been promoted from his dual role of head football coach for King High School and Director of Athletics to the primary Director of Athletics for Sheldon ISD. Coach George Young will succeed Derek Fitzhenry as the new Head Football Coach at C.E. King High School. Click here to read more.

New initiative in Sheldon ISD

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program is a new SISD initiative to reward, retain and recruit highly effective teachers on every campus while providing a realistic pathway for top SISD teachers to earn six-figure salaries. Click here for details.

Employee Assistance Program available for staff and household members

Employees and family members in the household now have access to LifeWorks, an Employee Assistance Program. See the attachments for more information on the program and its available resources, including a mobile app!

Are you receiving texts from Sheldon?

Employees and parents can receive texts from Sheldon ISD. The good news is your number is in Skyward which syncs automatically with School Messenger, the district's automated phone system. There are three ways to ensure your cell number has been opt in for text messages:


  1. Email the payroll department with your cell phone number at payrolldept@sheldonisd.com

  2. Stop by the payroll department to complete a form.

  3. Complete a change form online: (THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY)


To complete the online form:

  1. go to www.sheldonisd.com

  2. go to departments on the menu bar and click Payroll.

  3. on the right hand side Employee Information Change form or click here.


Please allow for a few business days to ensure that the change to your form has been made.


You can also text 'Y' to 67587. This is the short code number to receive texts alerts from Sheldon ISD and schools in the district.

Important Reminders

Keep voice mailbox clear

Please be sure to check and delete any voice mail messages that you no longer need. This is so when parents call, they are able to get an empty voice mailbox instead of the message that alerts them a staff member's mailbox is full. Thank you for your assistance!

Sign up online to give back through the employee scholarship fund

Each year Sheldon ISD employees donate a small portion of their paychecks to provide scholarships to graduating seniors. Last year, the Employee Scholarship Fund gave $16,000 to deserving seniors. Please consider a donation to this program. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Apply for donations and grants internally FIRST!

Please make sure that you are following the Sheldon ISD processes to apply for grants and ask for donations. Before you post to Donor Choose or participate in any other type of crowdfunding, it must be approved by the campus level administrator. Please complete these forms below for donations.


Additionally, if you are applying for a grant, please complete the form in Eduphoria under Formspace/General Forms/Permissions prior to applying for a grant. If you have any questions, please ask your building principal or department supervisor.

COVID-19 Quick Links for Staff

COVID-19 Lab-confirmed Positive Reporting Form

This form is to be completed by SISD employees only if you have a lab-confirmed positive test. There is no daily screening form that needs to be completed.

Employee COVID-19 Health Guidelines

Employees are not required to complete a daily form for self-screening. The only form that should be completed is if an employee is lab-confirmed COVID-19 positive.
