Kawerau Pūtauaki School

Newsletter - Thursday 15th April 2021

Term One is coming to an end ... and what a term it was!

We made it to the end of term, unlike last year, but Covid still managed to play a part.

We missed out on swimming sports for Term One, but we plan on having school cross country Week 3 of Term 2.

We welcomed many new whānau to our school, with the need to add another classroom.

Our year 5 and 6 students have been practising kapa haka every week, and will show their skills at our Term 2 pōwhiri. Our Juniors got to have a sneak peek this week.

Our Juniors have also been having fun learning with the creative stations that have been set up by their teachers. Follow them on Facebook - Kawerau Putauaki Juniors

As everyone has settled in to their routine - it's time for a two week break to relax, recharge, and get ready to do it all again Term 2!

See you all back at school Monday 3rd May. Enjoy your holidays!
