2019 Bond and Local Option Levy Information

On Aug. 5, the West Linn-Wilsonville School Board officially announced the District will place a capital bond levy and local option renewal on the November 2019 ballot. The bond, which is not expected to raise the current tax rate of West Linn-Wilsonville residents, will be placed on the ballot in addition to a local option tax levy.

The local option tax levy was last passed in 2014 and is set to expire following the 2019-20 school year. The local option tax levy currently funds approximately 80 teachers across the school district. That tax levy is not expected to raise the current tax rate experienced by voters. Learn more about both the capital bond and local option, including the major construction projects the capital bond would fund if approved by voters.

If you have specific requests regarding your student(s)' regular pickup or dropoff location, please access the school district's FamilyLink system. Navigate to the 'Bus Information' portion of FamilyLink to fill out a request. Note that available space on a bus is a primary consideration when allowing these requests.

Families can request to be picked up or dropped off at an alternative existing location, but the district will not create new or unplanned stops or routes for requests. Families are encouraged to submit requests now as the process could take up to two weeks.
