Upgrade

The 5th grade class at Huntingburg Elementary will be trying out the new salad toppings bar for the first time on Friday, November 9. The toppings bar was purchased with money from the school's UPGRADE program. Our cafeteria will be offering the salad entree choice twice in the month of November and every Friday in December. The smoothie as a breakfast entree choice will begin in 2019. Students who choose this option for lunch will receive a bowl of salad, fruit, bread and milk. They will then be able to choose their salad toppings from the topping bar. This will add another new option for healthy eating at Huntingburg Elementary!

Coming Soon: A new Upgrade breakfast option will be offered to the children in January.

Third Grade News

Third grade students are working on telling time and solving problems with elapsed time in our SSP groups. We will be learning about inventors and technology in our Social Studies lessons, and our Junior Achievement sessions are continuing. Every week we work on a variety of skills in Language Arts and practice those skills in many different ways.

Below are some photos from Mrs. Kappner's Halloween party. They wrote scary stories, played Mystery Package and Halloween Jingo, and read two Halloween story books.
