PRINCIPAL'S POST
Welcome Back CMHS students!!!!!
We are so excited to officially open our doors on Monday September 28th. Although you will be entering a building with some significant changes to the way we have operated in the past, what has not changed is our commitment to creating a safe and supporting school environment. Developing positive relationships and connections with students will continue to be our main focus and together we will scale new heights. Our theme for this year is to “Make a Difference”, each day. We want to make sure that the limited time we share together is maximized. While in school, focus on supporting each other, show kindness and reflect on how your actions can positively impact others.
Students who are on Cohort A will begin their week in person while Cohort B students will be at home learning with the support of hybrid coaches. As you enter the building for the first time, please remember some basic guidelines including mask wearing, social distancing, and hallways patterns. All students in grade 6 and 7 will report to their Academic Workshop (AW) classm wheras students in grades 8 through 12 will report directly to their first period class.
THERE SHOULD BE NO LOITERING IN THE HALLWAY.
Staff will be on hand to support this and welcome you back.
In preparation for Monday (Cohort A) and Thursday (Cohort B) we recommend that you review the new COVID Website with a parent or guardian, to fully understand guidelines.
Building expectations will also be reinforced on the first few days of school.
In closing, please be patient and supportive, as this is new to all of us.
Have a great weekend and see you all next week.
