Mensaje de la Directora
Semana del 8 al 12 de octubre
I can't thank enough Mark L. Wagner for his visit last Monday and for making our Jets day so special. The students had a wonderful day and enjoyed decorating our playground. Also, a big GRACIAS to our parent volunteers for the day. What a great way of helping at Holbrook! Thank you, thank you, thank you! If you have any pictures from this day or any comments from your student, please email them to me so I can share with Mr. Wagner.
This week, our classes have been focusing in this month's lifeskill, being Responsible. Our #teamHolbrook will be working on activities related to what it's to be responsible, and Jets showing this lifeskill will be getting Jetting to Success.
Our PBIS team met for the first time this year and were trained by the Santa Clara County and the MDUSD Equity team. We are happy to have Mr. Glen Thygesen, a Holbrook parent, joining our PBIS team. We are on Year 2 and each training we'll focus on how to improve Positive Behavior Intervention System at Holbrook.
We love you parents! And we have a lot more opportunities for you to volunteer! Thanks to Ms. Utler for putting together these three links for parents who'd like to help during lunch or recess time. Sign up in as many spots you'd like! Remember, parents need to be fingerprinted for these volunteering activities:
