Miner Minutes
Week of 5/6-5/10
We Appreciate You Everyday!
The shirt is a small token of our appreciation. Nick has kindly agreed to fire up the grill on Friday for lunch and we will watch the cafeteria while you enjoy a cookout!
We also ask that everyone wear their shirt on Friday. We will take a group shot after school. I'm always up for a good selfie!!!!!!!
Enjoy your week, the newsletter is short as Ms. Terry and I are in Florida for IB training and miss you, but hope you have a Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Things Coming Up...
8th Grade Formal: I'm not use to this, so I am following your lead on what you have done in the past. As mentioned before, we will not contract with our landscaper until June, so I'm not sure about the outdoor courtyard use...they are full of weeds.
Awards Day: Again, you all have done this differently than I have. Nonetheless, we will get something out soon to provide you with this upcoming information.
EOG's: I don't think EOG's are a surprise if you've done CFA's consistent with the EOG's themselves...i.e. SchoolNet and Mastery Connect. However...it is time to review. What can you master with them? What practices can you do to build confidence? They care about them, some just don't have faith they can do them. Some will take with ease and others will worry themselves completely. What can you do in 20+ days?
