Pasco Pathways
The school district will be hosting two Pasco Pathways Expo events that will highlight the choices and innovative programs available in our county for the 21-22 school year. Pasco County Schools will host its 3rd annual Expo style events on November 16th for West side schools, and November 19th for East side schools from 5-8 p.m. These events will take place virtually this year. All secondary schools in the designated area will be represented at the virtual Expo as well as select elementary schools. Cypress Creek Middle School will be represented at the November 19th Expo for East side schools from 5-8 p.m. and we would love to see you virtually at the Expo. In addition to the Expos we want to be sure you are aware of the Pasco Pathways School Choice process as well as the dates the application will be available. Red Ribbon Week & First Club Day!
We have a fun week ahead!! Red Ribbon Week is here! Each day there is a different student dress up theme! We encourage our students to dress up and bring awareness to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention. Please see flyer below for each days theme.
At the end of Red Ribbon Week, October 30th, we will have our first club day! On Tuesday, October 27th, students will be able to see which club they have been placed in. Each student's club will appear as a "Period 10" on his or her schedule. The club name, sponsor, and room number will be listed.
Be sure to check out Twitter @CypressMiddle each day during Red Ribbon Week to see our students in their daily costumes!
Club sponsors will email the club Zoom meeting link to mySchool Online students via their Pasco student email address.

Second Semester Learning Option Change Deadline Information - Please Read
Learning Option Changes for 1st semester have concluded. We will not be processing any more changes for the 1st semester of school.
Our school is already preparing for the second semester that begins on January 6, 2021. In order to properly allocate teachers and resources, the District is requiring families to notify the school by November 13 if they want to change their student's educational model for the second semester.
Please make your choice now, as the window for a request to CHANGE YOUR OPTION will ONLY BE OPEN through November 13th.

Tutoring Information
Do you need help with that assignment, or need further explanation on that equation? Well, we got your covered! Starting Wednesday, September 16th, the Cypress Creek Middle School NJHS and our Pack Leaders will be holding weekly tutoring sessions for all Cypress Creek students in our media center directly after school until 4:10 PM.
These tutoring services are completely free and will be provided by Cypress Creek teachers, Pack Leaders and National Junior Honor Society members. Take advantage of this free opportunity!

Lunch Informational for Traditional Students
Seating
Seating has been marked inside the Cafeteria and outside the Cafeteria. All seats are clearly marked where students can/cannot sit. Students will be escorted to lunch by their teachers to ensure social distancing. At the end of lunch, students will be picked up by their teachers. Students will always make a reservation once they have selected his or her seat using our CCMS Lunch Reservation URL Code. This helps us keep track of our students location while dining in our cafeteria each day. Students that do not have a device to scan the URL code can ask adults in the lunchroom for help.
Free & Reduced Lunch
The Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2020-2021 school year is now available online at www.pascoschoolmeals.com. If you are unsure if you qualify, you can also review the income eligibility guidelines on our website.
MySchool Bucks
School meal accounts can be funded through the MySchoolBucks meal payment service starting on August 15th. Just visit MySchoolBucks.com. You also have the option of paying directly in the cafeteria with cash, check, credit or debit. Contactless pay will be available at registers where credit cards are accepted. Students can use contactless cards, or Google Wallet, Android Pay and Apple Pay from their phones.

Checking Out a Student or Dropping a Student Off?
Checking Out Students:
When you arrive please come to the front office and ring the bell. Please have your ID ready to show one of our front office staff through our camera system. Students will be the only ones permitted in the front lobby. The staff member will contact the student's teacher to have them come down to be checked out.
Dropping Off Students Late to School:
All of our gates will be locked. Please drop your student off at the front office. If your child's tardiness is excused, please send a note in with them. Only students will be permitted in the front office for Drop-Offs. Our front office staff will check them in and get them to their class.

Visitor Screener Questions:
Please note that we are only permitting visitors to campus by appointment only. Please call 813-346-4600. All Visitors with an Appointment Must:

- Come to the Front Office to check in.
- Remain in designation location as directed (ex. front office, on bench outside front office)
Payments, Fees and Mask Purchases
- Fees may be paid online via Rycor.
- Hallway Lockers & PE Lockers will not be sold this year.
- Masks may be purchased online via a Rycor button or students can buy a mask with cash or check. The cost of a neck/buff is $10.00 and they will be sold on Fridays during lunch.
