Mrs. Myers' Memo

Sorry This is Late!

Due to my child's illness, I was out Friday and have just now had a chance to sit down and finish the newsletter. I was told that our class did really well for the guest teachers (yes, teachers, they had one in the morning, and a different in the afternoon)! I am so proud to hear this! I hope everyone has been enjoying this weather. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there this weekend!

Happy Birthday to Tamia (5/10) and Beanti (5/11)!

Attendance Party Coming Soon!

On May 25th, many students will be rewarded with a fun party at school, including bounce houses, snow cones, princesses, and more! To participate, students have to have 90 percent attendance for the whole year or 95 percent from April-May. With that being said, it is very important for your child to be at school each day until the end of the year. We would hate for them to miss the party due to an appointment that could've been scheduled for after school hours. Try to make sure your student is here for the remaining fun-filled day at East Elementary!

Book Fair Continues Next Week Through 5/12!

Mrs. Myers' Will Be Out Friday, 5/13

Students Keep on Growing as Readers!

Congratulations to the following students for moving up to their next independent reading level! Keep up the great work. We have 15 days to go....you can still move up one more if you read each night!
