Thanksgiving Food Drive is THIS WEEK
Book Fair is THIS WEEK!
You can send cash (plus tax) in an envelope or ziploc bag with your students name on it and the book(s) or items they would like to purchase,
OR
you may do an eWallet.
To do an eWallet please go to scholastic.com/fair
Type in Truman Elementary. It should be the 3rd choice with our Pacific address to select our school, then scroll down, and click "get started"
If you do an eWallet, please let your students teacher know because it will not notify them.
We are NOT doing a parent event paired with this book fair. We will not allow parents to come in and shop with students. Students will shop during their class Library time and there will be a couple times after breakfast students can go down and shop with Mrs. Stoker or Mrs. Reeds help.

Veteran's Day - Thursday Nov. 11th
If You or Your Family would like to honor a veteran please email or message me a picture and description of when they served, what branch, and how they are related to our Tribe. We will be posting a video on Thursday and would love to honor our Tribe's Veterans.

PTO MEETING OVERVIEW
Quick take away's for you all to stay in the loop:
- Christmas Tree Village: Truman and PTO will pair up to decorate a tree and work the Christmas Tree lot as needed. We are looking for an artificial Christmas Tree to use (that will be outside, in all kinds of weather, for a week. Our Truman Tree Theme is "Warm Your Hearts" I will post on Class Dojo with a specific list of items we will be collecting to help decorate the tree. The tree will be set up the week of 11/22-11/26.
- Pacific Partnerships Downtown Christmas Parade: The parade is on Saturday December 18th from 6-7pm. The parade theme is Christmas Around the World and Truman Elementary is representing Norway. Our décor and students will a play on Gnomes and hot cocoa mugs. WE WILL HAVE A PARADE PREP NIGHT ON THURSDAY DECEMBER 16TH @ 6:00PM if you would like to come and help. Crystal Smith is in charge of the prep work for our float if you would like to reach out to me I can connect you with her.
