Covid 19 Protocols

As the CDPH COVID-19 guidelines for schools continue to be developed and published, Dixon Unified School District will continue to update you. For now we expect all athletic teams to start on time and operate as normal following all State and County mandates.

Currently Solano County requires everyone (vaccinated or not) to wear a mask indoors.

All coaches and athletes participating on a team will be highly encouraged to test weekly.

Any athlete or coach that has any COVID-19 symptoms or that tests positive for COVID-19 must report their result immediately to their coach. DO NOT attend any practices or team functions until cleared.

Covid 19 Testing at Dixon High

********************************* Message for parents *********************************

Our COVID-19 testing program with the CDPH, Valencia Branch Lab and Color began smoothly at DHS last spring. Thank you to those who participated and who have registered online. Results are arriving in less than 48 hours, next day in some cases.

Parents/Guardians may still register students if you would like to use the school's testing program. Please use this link to register them:

A parent or guardian must register any minor under 18 years old. You’ll give a one-time consent and HIPAA authorization to share their results with the school and district. All questions included in registration are required for California state public health reporting. You’ll be asked for insurance information; but, please note this program is free.

DHS Testing Details:
Days: Mondays and Thursdays
Times: 2:30pm-3:30pm no appointment needed, will test in order students arrive
Location: Dixon High School (Come to the Admin. building)

For more information on testing with Color, including self-swab testing and receiving results, head to their COVID-19 FAQs.
