September is Suicide Awareness Month
With September, Suicide Awareness Month, just around the corner I want to share a few resources and opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills. Suicide awareness, prevention, and intervention can feel overwhelming, and like first aid training, it’s better to be prepared and never need it than the alternative. And, like first aid, prevention is our goal. Sources of Strength is a wonderful “upstream” approach. We can each do preventative work by building on our strength, or places, people, activities, and organizations we find strength through.
Training for Community Members:
GSA regrouping Starting September 9 Thursdays 3:30-4:15
What’s GSA? You may know it as the Gay, Straight Alliance, but now GSA is reworked to be more inclusive and expansive. GSA is the Gender and Sexuality Alliance. GSA’s can take various forms. From support, to advocacy, to a safe place to share experiences and form friendships. This year we are fortunate to have Coach Ny join in! We will be a local chapter, click on the link to learn more about the national GSA Network.
Use this form to indicate your interest. This is the same form as last year, so if you filled it out before it won’t allow you to again.

Jeffco Activity Pass 2021/2022
Jefferson County Schools have the option to purchase a school activity pass for students. What this means, is that you can purchase a pass for $60 to get into all Jeffco school sporting events. Since most middle schools do not charge for sporting events, unless it is play offs, this typically is good for students in middle school that have siblings that are older in high school.
If you would like to purchase a Jeffco Activity Pass for your student, please fill out the below form. Once you have submitted the form, the fee will be added to your students Jeffco Connect account for you to pay online. Once this has been paid, we will add the sticker to your students Jeffco ID card.
If you have questions, please email Jade.Zentz@Jeffco.k12.co.us
Please fill out this form to have a Jeffco Activity Pass added to your students fee
