Weekly Announcements

  • I hope PD Friday was a great learning experience. Please let me know if I can assist an any way as you look to implement something you learned. Any feedback around the entire experience is welcomed as well.
  • Progress Reports are uploaded on LEARN and ready to go. They are in the k-5 Common Core Folder. Please complete them throughout the week and send them next Monday. Monica Robinson needs a copy please.This is a federal law compliance process.
  • Cafeteria bills will be placed in your box on Friday's. Please send them home in the students homework folder.There is a better chance of parents locating it there.
  • There is a staff meeting every Friday unless I do not have anything to share. This Friday I would like to introduce you to our SRO Deputy Powell and our partners with Literacy Connect will share the details of the Infusion Project. There are huge benefits to our students because of this infusion.
  • Please welcome Ms.Lydia our new cafeteria manager and Madaleine our new IA (she is with Jesus in Ms. Kull's Class) to our team! Welcome Ladies!
  • We will have our first reading component team on Wednesday. Wings will go from 12:30-1:30 and roots from 1:30-2:30. Please have all your cycle assessments uploaded on member center so Monica and I can prepare school data with you. We will mainly discuss and clear up SFA instructional modifications and practices as well as set our quarterly goal.

This week Lead Teachers will meet with me to discuss Data-Driven Collaboration under a PLC Model. I've included some information on PLC's for your quick reference and review. Together with Lead Teachers an effective cycle to guide our work will be shared with everyone.
