Demographics
Germany is a very popular and populated place. At the moment the place is made mainly up of Germans and Syrian refugees that are fleeing from Syria. Currently this is around 83 million people living in Germany. On average 8,000 people are coming in to Germany each day.

Music and culture
Surprising enough kids in Germany learn how to speak English when they are 5 or 6. Because of most of them knowing English pretty well they listen to the same type of music we do in America.

Germany has nearly 700 zoological gardens, wildlife parks, aquariums, bird parks, animal reserves, or safari parks, including 414 registered zoos
Olympics
German athletes have won a total of 1662 Olympic medals
About the goverment
Germany is a republic with a parliamentary democracy and a bicameral system of government. The Federal Government consists of the Chancellor and his or her ministers who are drawn from the members of the Bundestag.
Historical Event
In 1099 First Crusade ( The People's Crusade). Jerusalem is re-taken from the Muslims on the urging of Pope Urban II. 1st Crusade led by Count Raymond IV of Toulouse and proclaimed by many wandering preachers, notably Peter the Hermit
Food
Most people is Germany eat most of the same food as America, except they are a bit healthier. A popular type of food that they have there is sheep and the most popular is wine that people oftentimes make fresh.
Apfelstrudel Recipe
Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) is a delicious pastry filled with apples flavoured with sugar, cinnamon, raisins and breadcrumbs – and has been popular since the 18th century. The delicate flakey pastry is made from an elastic dough, which is kneaded and stretched until it’s as thin as phyllo pastry. The pastry is wrapped round and round the filling building up many layers, and then baked. It’s served warm in slices sprinkled with powdered or icing sugar.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup canola oil, divided
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- FILLING:
- 1-1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 6 cups chopped peeled apples (about 6 medium)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
