Last Day of School Set for May 31, 2019

At the April Board of Education meeting, members voted to designate Friday, May 31, 2019 as our last day of school for the 2018-19 school year. In accordance with state regulations, the Board is able to waive our 9th inclement weather make up day, as we have an extra day built into our academic calendar.

Friday, May 31, 2019 will be our last day of school, and will be a 3-hour early dismissal.

The revised 2018-19 school calendar can be found here.

Dear Siegrist Families,

On Friday, May 24th, Siegrist students will be participating at Pirate Stadium in our annual Field Day. There will be two segments for this event. K-2 students will be participating 9:00-11:30 and 3-5 students will be participating 12:30-3:00.

Our Field Day theme is The Greatest Showmen and consists of many different activities during the day, some include water. Please wear active clothing and tennis shoes. Parents must apply sunscreen on students before school. We encourage kids to bring a sack lunch, but one can be purchased through the school.

We already have stations covered with volunteers, but if you would like to help give people breaks, let me know. Volunteers and guests should be at the stadium by 8:45 for K-2 or 12:15pm for 3-5. DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS PARKING LOT. Lastly, have students wear their Field Day shirts if they purchased one. We look forward to fun in the sun! See you there.
