From the Art Room - Artist in Residence!
MJ1 is lucky to welcome author and illustrator Jeanne Styczinski! Ms. Styczinski will be with us the week of March 25-29. She is a retired teacher who has followed her dreams of becoming an artist and author and illustrator. Her books resemble a creative, playful Eric Carle style. She will be working with all K-8th grade art students during the week to create a one-of-a-kind book for MJ1! Students will be creating the book from scratch including printing the paper that will be used for collaging. We can't wait to haver Ms. Styczinski and her talents at MJ1! Check out some of her work at https://mrsjeanne.com/.
