General COVID/Safety Guidelines
Complete the health screener form prior to arriving to school. QR codes will be posted on entrances for students to scan prior to entering the building.
Wear masks upon arrival. Students are expected to provide and bring their own mask every day.
Social Distancing procedures will be observed when possible.
Students will use the hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building and classrooms.

Arrival Procedures
When to Arrive by Grade Level
- 9th grade arrives from 7:45-8:00
- 10th grade arrives from 8:00-8:15
- 11th and 12th grade arrive from 8:15-8:30
Where to Enter the Building
- Front of school
- Doors by Auditorium
- Doors by Girls Gym
- Back of School by Band Hall/athletic hallway
Where to Report When You Arrive
- 9th grade- Cafeteria (only sit where there is a dot and do NOT move the chairs)
- 10th grade-Girls Gym (maintain social distancing by following guidelines on the bleachers)
- 11th-12th grade- Freshman and Senior Mall Areas (Only sit where there is a dot and do not move the chairs)

Morning Tutorials
Breakfast
When is Breakfast Served?
Where is Breakfast Served?
9th grade will purchase food in the cafeteria
10th, 11th, and 12th grade can purchase food from the snack bar by the auditorium.
We strongly encourage all students to eat at home if possible in order to better social distance.
Where to Eat Breakfast By Grade Level
- 9th grade may only eat in the cafeteria.
- 10th, 11th, and 12th grade eat at tables by the snack bar by the auditorium, then report to the appropriate destination.
Transition Times
Restroom Visits
- Students are encouraged NOT to go to the restroom during passing period in order avoid mass gatherings in the restroom. Students are encouraged to wait to go to the restroom during class.
- Students are expected to maintain social distancing in the restroom and near the sinks.
Water Fountains
Only use automatic bottle filler.
Drinking from the fountain will not be permitted.
We encourage you to bring your own bottle of water to have with you throughout the school day.
Lockers
Hallway Traffic
Students and staff are required to wear a mask during all transition times.
Students need to stay on the right side of the hallways.Tape will placed down the center of all hallways and stairwells to serve as a visual reminder to maintain one-way traffic.
Students are expected to maintain social distancing during transition times as best as possible.
Classroom Procedures
- Eating will NOT be permitted in the classroom. The teacher may decide whether or not a student is permitted to eat a snack in the hallway.
- Drinking water in the classroom is also a teacher decision.
Visiting Places Other the Restroom
Restroom- Must get a pass from your teacher
Nurse- Must have a pass from your teacher
Counseling Office- Students may only go if it is an emergency, if not, students can email the counselor and the counselor will then schedule an appointment.
AP Office- The AP will send for the student, however if it is an emergency the student needs to get a pass from the teacher.
If students need to go to the library they need to get a pass from the teacher.
**ALL PASSES WILL BE DISPOSABLE AND A ONE TIME USE**
Lunches
Where to Eat
Places: Students may eat in the cafeteria and both the Freshman and Senior Malls (hallways by the nurse’s office and the auditorium).
Students may only sit a table where there is a dot and may not move chairs. Seating will be limited at each table in order to maintain social distancing.

- We strongly encourage students to bring their own lunch in order to reduce lines and traffic.

Dismissal
When to Dismiss
Staggered times
- Drivers (10th-12th) may be dismissed 5 minutes early, ONLY their siblings may leave to ride with them.
- Rosters of drivers will be sent to teachers and updated as students are added.
Where to Dismiss
- Bus numbers 29, 25, 13, 5, 1, and 16 in the front of the school
- Bus numbers 3, 9, 4, 6, 12, 21, and 26 on the side/senior lot
