"Calling all Gwinnett community members and beyond! Please take a minute to VOTE and SHARE for our Brookwood (and former Five Forks Middle School) team in their quest to attain a Top 5 spot in this NATIONAL TI Codes Contest! The winning team will travel to Houston (post-COVID) and present their project to NASA Engineers at Johnson Space Center and Mission Control. The team was required to: "propose a way to automate or optimize a process or product for living and working on the International Space Station. Then use coding and Texas Instruments technology to design and build a model of the solution." Our team created a working prototype utilizing technology from Texas Instruments and specifically did all machine coding via a TI Inspire Calculator. The team is made up of these former FFMS Broncos and current BHS Sophomores: William Li (team lead, coding), Sam Barskiy (3d printing, design), and Ethan Shust (construction/implementation). The Sponsor is FFMS Teacher Stephen Griffith (FFMS Engineering/Robotics/PrintShop). Follow the link below to check out their amazing design. Good Luck, Broncos!"
