Senior Service Day 2019: #makeyourmark
Loveland High School’s senior class spends a day serving local nonprofits
The entire senior class at Loveland High School (LHS) spent Wednesday, October 16, volunteering at nonprofits throughout the area. Beginning the day assembled at New Hope Baptist Church, the students learned from presenters about the value and impact of community service and then spent the afternoon assisting at a range of local organizations and agencies, including: Bethany House, Cincinnati Parks, Freestore Foodbank, Grailville, Granny's Garden, Greenacres, Hands Against Hunger, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Loveland City School District, Nest, New Life Furniture, Play Library, Stepping Stones, St. Francis Seraph School, St. Vincent De Paul and Valley View. Loveland Schools bus driver Len Whitling places first in regional Road-E-O competition
Three Loveland City School District school bus drivers finished in the top ten among dozens of drivers at the 2019 regional Road-E-O competition on October 5: Mary Toups came in eighth place, Valerie Daugherty in seventh, and Len Whitling in first place. Whitling was also part of a team with Melissa Hollon, Tara Hollandsworth, and Barb Ramsey who placed third in the team event. (Read more.)
National School Bus Safety Week: October 21-25
Stuff-a-Bus does it again!
A big thank you goes out to all in our community who contributed to the latest Stuff-a-Bus food drive for the LIFE Food Pantry in Loveland. On Saturday, October 12, volunteers greeted the school bus as it pulled into the parking lot at Prince of Peace Church to help unpack, sort and stock the much-needed supply of food. (Read more.)

Get a jump start on your holiday shopping at the 36th Annual LHS Arts and Crafts Expo!
The 36th Annual Loveland High School Arts and Crafts Expo will take place on Saturday, November 2, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. More than 200 artists and crafters will fill the LHS cafeteria, hallways and gymnasiums with items for sale. Admission: $2/adult. This event is sponsored by the Loveland Athletic Boosters.
